UK immigration policy could damage Indian relations

David Cameron’s attempt at improving links with India is being undermined by his new immigration policy.

Some are accusing the prime Minister of welcoming business trade links while pushing Indian businesses away by capping non-EU immigration.

The chancellor George Osborne is holding talks with the heads of the Tata group today before a delegation lead by David Cameron visits India tomorrow.

BUT the manager for business relations between the UK and India, Stephen Hawes, told us it won’t put businessmen off working with Britain.
